Inspirations:

She definitely puts all the Kitsune Akarikages on a pedestal for their feats, though she also gives a lot of credit to the other ones as well. Her biggest inspiration though is Kojoro, the Mother. Her additions culturally to the clan really resonate with Kagura

The death of the Akarikage and subsequent changes since then have been really eye-opening for Kagura. She feels as if she's finally seeing the world as it is, and that life isn't always going to be fair. With the destruction of the village and the rebuilding since then, the Kitsune girl has been really adamant about helping with work. While she still loves her down time, she wants to use a lot of it to volunteer. Tamamo and she have often been seen working on some project for the village, and seem to really enjoy helping. It's helped her grow more motivated about the village as a whole, and working towards the common good.

One of the biggest changes for her has been stepping up after her father was badly injured during the fight with the masked men. While she could rely on the rest of the Kitsune clan for support, Kagura really took this time to become a more responsible person and learn to take care of someone else. While it was tough at moments, the girl learned a lot from the experience, and has come out of it more confident in herself. The other large lesson she learned was that it's okay to make mistakes and have down moments, and that she doesn't have to beat herself up if she does mess up.

One of the more negative effects the timeskip has had on Kagura is her anxiety has raised with the souring relations between the Kitsune and Asukai, along with the emergence of the factions. While she wants to stay with her family and support the fox faction, she also does admire Akihiko's changes and thinks they are better in the long run for the village. This has caused her to be really secretive about which side she chooses, as she doesn't even know herself. It's given her a lot of grief and made her more guarded than ever.
