   Hiroya is seen as frightening at first glance, but the real frightening thing about him is if his emotions start to take over his actions. He's also pretty reserved and won't really engage in conversation with strangers. Now it's even harder for him since he knows no one in Tōrōgakure. Hiroya feels a bit uncomfortable and coy when women flirt with him, especially in public and would much rather be by himself when shopping for things he needs and he will try to get away from a flirty persistent woman. Doesn't work all the time, though.

   Once Hiroya starts to open up to you he's very sweet and caring towards you as a friend. He'll treat friends to dinner once in a while and cook them dinner once he feels comfortable enough with you around. He'll stand by you and what you believe in if it's for a good cause or a good reason or if it helps a lot of people. And with strength like his, he'll never back down or reveal information to those who aren't to hear. Hiroya will also make a few witty and clever remarks a lot around his closest friends and towards people he dislikes, just to get on their nerves. And you can always count on him in a mission if things go wrong; he'll always have some sort of plan ready and can use anything around him if needed.

Backstory:

   Hiroya grew up without a mother for most of his early infancy since his mother died due to complications after giving birth to him. That never got him down or upset him as he had his father and his father's stories about Hiroya's mother. Especially the stories that involved his mother challenging the male shinobi.
   His father has been a fisher his whole life and though hard to do in such cold conditions, he found the joy in it. Isamu, his father, taught him how to fish from an early age which taught him patience. Although his father wanted Hiroya to become a fisherman like him, he supported Hiroya's dreams as a child to become a powerful shinobi.
When Hiroya was 4, his father remarried a young woman with a newborn daughter, with Hiroya's blessing. He fell in love with his new younger step sister and his new mother and treated them no different than from his own father.
  When the 3rd Yukikage died and his brother, Ryūji Fubuki, took over life became harder for Hiroya's family to live since they were in the Lower Class. Hiroya can't recall a lot of what was REALLY happening, but they had to sell a lot of things to get a little more money. In just the first year of the 4th Yukikage, Hiroya and his family lost their home and was staying with his step-mother's parents. When he was 6 years old, his father had enough of the 4th Yukikage's treatment on the citizen's; he publicly called out the 4th, insulting and cursing the Tyrant. He never saw the consequences for this insulting outburst. Early the next morning, Hiroya watched his father murdered in the center of Kōsetsumura. After his father's murder, Hiroya would go off and simply watch and even join other kids train as a shinobi. He was eventually caught by one of the teachers. Luckily for Hiroya, the teacher gave Hiroya free, private lessons to become a genin shortly after "The Great Purge" acquired.
  Hiroya's life got better after that day. Tatsuya Fubuki took back his royal name and become the 6th Yukikage. Ikuto became a Chunin in by the age of 18. He was able to help his mother find a new home for them and helped with getting his younger sister into school. Hiroya even trained his younger sister himself as she wanted to become a shinobi like him. He was happy with his life and a proud shinobi that was the son of a fisherman. Until recently, everything he had was suddenly lost.
Kōsetsumura and Tōrōgakure engaged into a battle between each other as they claimed to "betray" the Tōrōgakure. Hiroya joined the fight, though he wished to stay with his mom and sister. With no chose, he left his home and fought Tōrōgakure.
  Soon they found that it was all a rouges for the Ihaigakure. When given the chance Hiroya hurried back to his home. When he arrived with other Snowfall shinobi to Kōsetsumura, they found it burned to the ground. Ikuto immediately ran into the village and searched for his mom and sister. He searched his burnt down home for the two of them, finding his mother's corpse and his sister barely hanging onto life with 4-degree burns. The shinobi who knew medical-ninjutsu helped as much as they could, but Hiroya's sister died after minutes of medical-nin help.

  Hiroya now lives in the small housing district, near the Academy in Tōrōgakure with other Kōsetsumura survivors/ refugees alone and trying to enjoy what he has left.
