Chapter 4: Return of the Crimson Snow.

     It's the next day, the squads of shinobi stopped briefly to make camp the night before,
but now that the sun has risen, it's time to move forward. Kōsetsumura is still a ways away.
We've fought through a blizzard, harsh winds, deadly ice, and frigid cliffs,
what more could stand in our way? We'd find out soon enough...

     We came to a trench,  two steep snowy cliffs, one on each side, sheltered us from the winds,
but the path was somewhat narrow, and didn't leave much room for movement, 
so we had to pack together, into tight formations, in case anything happened.
And that's when we heard it, the cry of a falcon, a sound none of us were familiar with.
But before we could react, there they were, loads of them, they had us surrounded.

     "This worked out better than planned! You guys really fall for the same trick twice?"
A tall man stepped forward, presumably the leader of the bandits. He spoke again,
"Alright boys, this one will be easy, just kill the punks! Group 1, focus on the Jōnin!
The rest of you? Well, you can handle the brats. Make it quick! I hate seeing kids suffer!
And remember, Kill 'em all, we won't get paid if anyone survives!" 
The thugs responded with a cheer before brandishing their weapons, an assortment of blades,
these were no regular bandits, these were hired mercenaries, and they knew we were coming...

     Was this betrayal? Or a carefully planned attack from another side?
Whatever it was, we didn't have time to think on it, it was fight, or perish,
the tall man let out one last word before brandishing his own blade, 

     "CHARGE!"

Return of the Crimson Snow Credit Missions:
Do note these missions are OPTIONAL! However, each mission will give you one Credit.
Remember, Credits are used to raise stats, improve chakra natures, and later on, other things!
Also note: We're trying something new this week, in that, we'll release some missions now,
then in a few days after a sub-event, we will release 2 more missions. :3

Shinobi who are pre-occupied (Can't be used in missions):
Tarou Kitsune (The Akarikage), all Clan leaders/Important figures, etc.

1. Ambush!

     -OPTIONAL: PART OF THIS MISSION WILL ALSO BE A SCHEDULED LIVE RP IN THE CHAT-

     It is not mandatory to participate, but if you do, you have a chance at winning an additional credit!


     On the way to Kōsetsumura, we were ambushed! Fend off the bandits as best as you can!
     The Jōnin are busy fighting the bandit leader, so fend off the thugs to protect their rear!
     Your Task:
     Write or draw about your character fighting off the bandits in the trench!
     note: Again realize, these are bandits! (not shinobi, but still dangerous), They don't wear protectors! 
     they're just japanese thieves with simple weapons (tanto, katana, etc) and traditional clothes,
     they might know some techniques, but no nature transformations, mostly raw strength/speed.

     Please keep in mind that most shinobi in the group are Genin still,
     and these bandits would be considered, in strength, a strong genin, or early chunin.
     Typically, younger shinobi (14-17) would team up in groups of 2-3 to defeat one bandit,
     while older shinobi (18-21) might be able to take on a bandit by themselves, or a single ally.

     please don't OP yourself and one shot KO 5 bandits by yourself, there's a reason so many shinobi were sent on this mission,
     they're a highly dangerous group of bandits that Kōsetsumura themselves can't deal with on their own, so they requested aid.

2. Avalanche! (note: you must complete Mission 1 before attempting this mission!)

     "Shit! It looks like I underestimated you punks! Well, no matter! DIE!"

Characters who cannot be used in this mission: Rei Haru, Usagi Jikan, and Ren Kobayashi.

     -THIS MISSION TAKES PLACE AFTER THE LIVE RP-

     We defeated the bandits! But their leader has escaped! Once he realized he was surrounded,
     he set off an explosive, 'causing the rocky trench to fill with a silvery white tidal wave of snow!
     All of the 14-15 year old shinobi were buried not far from the trench, but got separated.
     All of the 16-17 year old shinobi were pushed back into a forest and got separated.
     And the 18-21 year old shinobi were pushed downhill into some caves and got separated.
     Your Task (GROUP A: 14-15 year olds):
     Write or draw about your character making their way through the harsh winds and snow,
     reuniting with the rest of their group at the trench, and setting up a signal fire to find the rest!
     Be careful, there may be a couple bandits left over from the previous scrap in the trench! 
     Your Task (GROUP B: 16-17 year olds):
     Write or draw about your character making their way through the dangerous woods,
     reuniting with the rest of their group at the edge of the woods, and seeing group A's signal fire!
     Be careful, there are wolves in the forest who wouldn't hesitate to make you a quick snack!
     Your Task (GROUP C: 18-19 year olds):
     Write or draw about your character making their way out of the icy caverns below,
     reuniting with the rest of their group outside of the caves, and seeing group A's signal fire!
     Be careful, there are hanging icicles and slippery areas in the caves, lots of natural hazards!

3. The Sparks to the Future Flame. (note: you must complete Mission 2 before attempting this mission!)
     All of the groups head to the signal fire and are re-uinited, and are found shortly after by the 3 Jōnin,
     who scouted the area and found the bandit's camp! They devise a plan to ambush the bandits at nightfall.
     Your Task:
     Draw or Write about your character (and company if you wish) Ambushing the Bandit camp from above!
     (There are cliffs on all sides, it will be a great way to bring fear to the enemies hearts!),
     The Jōnin will set the tents on fire with some flaming arrows, when the tents go up in flames, 
     It's your time to raid the cowards as they try and escape! They will put up a fight, but nothing like before!

     The bandits are now cowards, totally demoralized from the ambush, they're fighting poorly and running away!
     Each shinobi (regardless of age) can take on a bandit alone and come out victorious, the damn cowards!
     In groups of 2-3, you can take on up to twice as many (4-6) bandits! Show them the pride of Tōrōgakure!
          

POST-BANDIT MISSIONS!

Note: Rei Haru (17), Usagi Jikan (15), and Ren Kobayashi (17) were all lost in the blizzard.
They are M.I.A. and presumed to be deceased. You may use that as a prompt in your blizzard stories, however. 

4. Snowfall Celebration. 
     All of the bandits have been defeated thanks to everyone's heroic efforts!
     As a thank you, Kōsetsumura is holding a big banquet in the town square.
     While the 3 Jōnin interrogate the bandits for more information, the others are celebrating!
     Your Task:
     Draw or Write about your OC celebrating in Kōsetsumura over their victory against the bandits!
     note: Kōsetsumura is a very small village, the buildings are similar to TG (old and traditional),
     but there is snow all over the place, the buildings are not painted, and have wooden roofs (not tile).

     Here is a reference of what Kōsetsumura villagers look like, so you get a general idea, HOWEVER!
     Do NOT copy this design, merely take influence from it, as this is their Kage, and he is away in battle atm.
     Important details: Goggles are mandatory, no protectors, their village symbol is on their back!
     Clothing theme consists of white, turquoise, and brown (light blue is reserved for the Kage/his family)
     Hair is always black, or gray, even in old age, it just becomes lighter gray. They show very little skin.

5. Welcome Home. 
     It's been a long journey, we've been away from home for weeks, time to go home.
     I'm sure your friends and family are worried sick! This our first successful serious mission!
     I'm sure some people will be celebrating, and others will just want to rest. What will you do?
     Your Task:
     Draw or Write about your OC returning home, this is one of the first big missions involving youngsters,
     It was probably really hard on all the families of the village, so make sure to give em a big hug!
